The devastating event at the American Fish Company establishment was officially termed by investigators as an exceptionally planned attack. This violent act resulted in the loss of three lives and left five individuals requiring medical care. Law enforcement confirmed that the accused, identified as Nigel Edge, who is 40 years old and hails from the nearby area of Oak Island, discharged his weapon into the gathered patrons while positioned on a boat adjacent to the shorefront location. Nigel Edge was eventually apprehended on the night of the incident.
