A pedestrian, later identified as Marco St. Julian, suffered fatal injuries after being struck by a large commercial truck. The devastating incident occurred in Long Beach on Friday afternoon, September 29, 2025.
According to information released by the Long Beach Police Department, the collision happened near the busy intersection of 67th Street and Paramount Boulevard. At the time of the accident, Mr. St. Julian was reportedly crossing the street while moving north on foot.
Emergency responders, including police officers and paramedics, were dispatched to the scene immediately upon receiving reports of the crash. Upon their arrival, they found Mr. St. Julian unconscious and severely injured on the roadway. First aid was administered by paramedics before the arrival of additional medical personnel.
Despite the prompt response and life-saving efforts by emergency medical services, officials confirmed that Mr. St. Julian was pronounced dead due to the extreme severity of his injuries. The suspect driver of the 2019 International semi-truck remained present at the scene and provided cooperation with the ongoing investigation.
