Fatal Wausau car crash death of Shirley L. Erickson and Arlen Erickson
Marathon County officials recently announced the identities of two individuals killed in a serious collision. The involved parties, identified as Shirley L. Erickson, aged 81, and her husband Arlen Erickson, who was also 82, were residents of Wausau. Both victims were identified with the assistance of local law enforcement and medical examiners.
The incident occurred on Friday night along Highway 52. It happened close to the point where the highway intersects with Forest Lawn Road. Emergency services were dispatched shortly after 10:01 p.m. on September 26th. Paramedicine and other rescue teams arrived at the scene. They confirmed that the couple’s deaths were directly caused by the accident. The collision was a head-on type.
