Police in the UK have shared an image of the man who tragically passed away after a bike accident in east Belfast over the weekend. The incident, a lone rider accident, happened on Castlereagh Road at about 11:50 pm on Sunday and proved fatal.

Emergency services including the police arrived quickly, but William, who was 37, was taken to the hospital and eventually succumbed to his injuries.

Castlereagh Road was closed for several hours while investigators examined the crash scene; it has since been reopened.

A formal inquiry into the deadly motorcycle accident is currently underway, with police appealing to anyone who saw the incident to get in touch.
