Fatal Anamosa car crash death of Clifford Bickel
Iowa State Patrol officials announced the identity of a man who was killed in a multi-vehicle accident Monday morning on Highway 151 in Anamosa. The fatal collision occurred around 8:10 a.m. Monday between exits 54 and 63 on the highway.
According to law enforcement, an Oldsmobile Cutlass, being operated by the 83-year-old Clifford Bickel of Anamosa, did not yield the right of way for a Ford F250. The Ford F250 entered the southbound lanes of Highway 151 from Circle Drive and collided with the Cutlass on its driver’s side.
Mr. Bickel succumbed to his injuries as a result of the crash.
