Fatal Tucson car crash death of Jordan Caleb Estes
Pima County authorities confirmed that a 28-year-old individual, identified as Jordan Caleb Estes, was the fatality in a severe vehicular incident. The accident, which proved deadly, occurred on September 29 during the evening hours at the junction of North Thornydale Road and West Turkey Lane.
An Arizona law enforcement officer, currently not on active service, observed the collision and promptly activated the emergency response system by dialing 911. This officer remained at the scene until the arrival of sheriff’s deputies to take over the situation.
Upon their arrival, the deputies encountered a semi-truck stationary by the roadside, with its operator and accompanying passenger remaining unharmed. After conducting a search of the surrounding area, the deputies discovered Jordan Caleb Estes. Medical attempts to save his life were made, but he was ultimately pronounced deceased at the location.
The traffic division of the Pima County Sheriff’s Department announced that neither excessive speed nor any indication of impairment played a role in the unfortunate accident.
During the ongoing investigation, it was disclosed that Jordan Caleb Estes was reported as missing to the authorities by a local mental health service provider.
