Tyson Williamson dies in fatal Greene County car crash

Fatal Greene County car crash death of 16-year-old Tyson Williamson

Greene County authorities confirmed the identity of the 16-year-old male who lost his life in the incident on Brush Row Road towards the end of Friday, September 26th.

According to information disseminated by News Center 7 earlier, Greene County Sheriff’s deputies and members of the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) were called to the 500 block of Brush Row Road following a crash report around 9 p.m. on that Friday.

A Chrysler PT Cruiser, known to be driven by four young people, was proceeding westbound on Brush Row Road. The vehicle experienced a loss of control, veering off the right side of the road, then overcorrecting and leaving the road on the left side, impacting two fences before flipping and hitting a third fence before stopping.

In the aftermath, one of the four young occupants was declared deceased at the scene. The remaining three were transported to nearby medical facilities for treatment.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol announced that the deceased teen is identified as Tyson Williamson, a 16-year-old from Xenia. It was noted by the OSHP that Mr. Williamson was a passenger in the vehicle involved in the accident.
