The official in charge of determining the cause of death at the Bureau County facility disclosed the identity of the individual who passed away in the severe motorcycle mishap on Friday.
The individual, identified as Brady Lafferty, a 26-year-old person, lost command of their motorcycle and veered off the road, which led to the fatality.
As reported by the Bureau County Sheriff’s Office, while Mr. Lafferty was traveling westbound on Illinois Highway 6 at 11:38 p.m. on Thursday, the motorcycle left the main road, causing him to be flung from the vehicle.
Deputies added that he was transported from the crash site to a hospital in the surrounding area, but he ultimately did not survive and died there.
