TYRON C. TYLER AND AUDREY HILL DIE IN FATAL ORANGEBURG COUNTY CAR CRASH

A fatal car crash in Orangeburg County claimed the lives of Tyron C. Tyler and Audrey Hill, both victims of blunt force injuries sustained when their moped was struck by a Kia sedan on US Highway 301.

The collision, which occurred at approximately 2:25 a.m. Friday, took place one and a half miles north of Orangeburg. According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the Kia sedan collided with the moped while both vehicles were traveling in the same direction. Both Tyron C. Tyler, aged 55, and Audrey Hill, aged 70, were pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Orangeburg County coroner’s office officially identified the deceased individuals on Saturday. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is currently investigating the incident to determine the full circumstances surrounding the crash.
