Phoenix authorities reported a stabbing-related fatality stemming from a domestic conflict. The incident transpired on October 4th at approximately 3:20 in the early morning hours, situated near the intersection of 44th Street and Indian School Road.
When law enforcement personnel arrived at the scene, they located the deceased male individual in the front yard of a residential property. The police department confirmed that Erick Michael Chapman, who was 50 years old at the time of his death, was the deceased.
Further details from the authorities indicate that another man was apprehended at the location. This individual confessed to involvement in the stabbing act and was also suffering from injuries during the event. He received medical attention at a hospital for non-critical wounds. Following his discharge, the man was brought to police headquarters for questioning by investigators. According to the police, he was eventually released from custody.
