According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a serious accident took place at approximately 6:14 a.m. on Sunday, located near West 2900 Road within Washington County. The incident involved a collision between two vehicles, resulting in a fatality.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol provided details stating that a commercial truck, driven by David Hewitt, who is 61 years old and from Newburg, Missouri, was transitioning into the northbound direction of U.S. 75. A separate passenger car, operated by Joe McDoulett, 78, of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, struck the truck in the adjacent lane.

In the affected vehicle, Jeannie McDoulett, 76, from Sapulpa, Oklahoma, was a passenger and was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency responders. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol confirmed that no other individuals associated with the crash reported injuries.
