Fatal Reno County car crash involving Nicholas Brilhart and Sharon Davis

Official authorities have confirmed the identities of the two individuals who lost their lives in a serious collision that occurred on Monday within Reno County. The deceased persons are Nicholas Brilhart, aged 31 from Sterling, and Sharon Davis, who was 66 years old and from Weston, West Virginia.

The incident took place on K-96/K-14, specifically near the 82nd Avenue bridge. According to reports from the Reno County Sheriff’s office, the involved vehicles were a silver Subaru SUV and a southbound Ford F-150 pickup truck. The Subaru, which was traveling northbound, apparently crossed into the path of oncoming traffic. Both drivers attempted to steer their vehicles off the road to the right shoulder in an effort to prevent a direct collision.

The operator of the F-150 pickup truck incurred only minor injuries and was treated at a medical facility in Lyons before being discharged. Medical professionals are currently caring for several individuals who were involved in the accident. Notably, one of those injured is a baby who is receiving treatment in a hospital located in Wichita.

Eyewitnesses present at the scene provided assistance to the unfortunate victims until the arrival of emergency medical services.
