The Sadsbury Township car crash that occurred Wednesday night has identified the deceased as Dorothy Joy Stoltzfus, who was 21 years old and resided in East Lampeter Township. The Lancaster County Coroner’s office confirmed her death, attributing it to multiple traumatic injuries and ruling the incident an accident.
State Police reports indicate Stoltzfus was a passenger in a Chevrolet Cruze. The vehicle was reported traveling eastbound on Mine Road when it departed the roadway, subsequently striking a utility pole located west of Buck Hill Road at approximately 7:30 p.m.
The driver of the Chevrolet Cruze, a man, was transported to Lancaster General Hospital for medical evaluation. State police have not yet released the identity of the driver.
Obituarial information states Stoltzfus was the daughter of Levi K. and Nancy Miller Stoltzfus. She is also known to be survived by her siblings, Caleb and Hosanna Stoltzfus.
