Fatal Nashville stabbing death of James G. Williams
Nashville police have returned the man who allegedly murdered 65-year-old James G. Williams to face charges.
According to reports from the Metro Nashville Police Department, 39-year-old Omeed Y. Esmail was brought back to Nashville on Friday afternoon. He is expected to be formally accused of criminal homicide in connection with the March killing of the victim.
James G. Williams was discovered deceased in a bathtub at the Red Roof Inn located on Claridge Drive back on March 15. The incident led to a death investigation as authorities are working to determine the exact cause of death.
