A man from Galloway was pronounced deceased following the incident. He was the operator of a 2006 Kia Spectra. The accident occurred in Norwich Township on October 7, shortly after 4:20 p.m., as per a report from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.
Schierman was traveling north-west on Feder Road in his Kia. Simultaneously, a 2025 model Toyota Tacoma pickup truck was moving south-east on the same stretch of road.
Sheriff’s deputies and medics from the Norwich Township Fire Department arrived at the location. According to the sheriff’s office, Schierman was confirmed deceased at 4:31 p.m. The Tacoma’s driver was taken to OhioHealth Doctors Hospital in good condition.
