Fatal Polk County crash death of Alexa Peterson
The authorities have officially identified the person who was killed in a serious off-road vehicle accident in Polk County.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office announced in a recent update that the deceased is 15-year-old Alexa Peterson, who was from a rural area near Osceola, Wisconsin.
In a statement released by the sheriff’s office, it was reported that emergency services were alerted at 7:04 p.m. on Saturday, October 11, 2025. The incident occurred on 250th Street, which is located south of 20th Avenue in the Town of Farmington. This location is in the western part of Polk County.
The statement explained that the UTV was traveling south on 250th Street. The driver suddenly lost control and caused the vehicle to roll over as it approached a ditch on the west side of the road.
The injured passenger, who was later confirmed to be Peterson, was transported by helicopter emergency services to a nearby medical facility. However, the injuries were severe and could not be treated successfully.
The driver of the UTV was also taken to a hospital for treatment. Fortunately, the injuries sustained by the driver were not considered life-threatening.
