Fatal Howard car crash death of Chase Nundahl.

Authorities in Brown County have identified the individuals involved in the recent collision that resulted in the death of one man and injuries to another, following an incident where a truck struck a utility pole and a tree.

According to a release issued by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched at 9:55 p.m. on Wednesday to the location of Shawano Avenue and Evergreen Avenue in the Village of Howard following reports of a crash.

Preliminary investigation findings indicate that the truck had failed to navigate a curve on Shawano Avenue, causing it to depart the roadway and subsequently hit a utility pole before crashing into a large tree. As a result, two individuals were trapped within the vehicle.

The driver, a 21-year-old named Cameron Reinbach from Howard, was rescued from the truck and transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. The passenger, also aged 21, who was from Suamico, was removed from the vehicle and taken to the hospital, but was pronounced deceased upon arrival.

Deputies have indicated that both excessive speed and the influence of alcohol likely contributed to the crash. No further information is currently available, and an ongoing investigation is being conducted.
