Homicide investigators in Portland are seeking information regarding a fatal shooting. The incident occurred in Northwest Portland on Saturday afternoon. Detectives asked for public assistance to identify the shooter.
Portland authorities confirmed the identity of the deceased as Krystal Lynne Pendergraph, who was 39 years old and a resident of Portland.
Emergency responders were dispatched around 5:10 p.m. on Saturday. They were dispatched to examine a parked vehicle located on NW Kearney Street between 22nd and 23rd Avenues. Eyewitnesses reported observing the vehicle and suggesting the occupant might have been shot.
Upon arrival, officers found Krystal Lynne Pendergraph deceased. Post-mortem examination results later confirmed her death was attributed to a gunshot wound and classified as a homicide.
