Fatal Greene County car crash death of Makaylah Dixon
The law enforcement agency is examining the incident. The fatal accident happened on Fort Run Road near Snow Hill on Sunday, October 12. A trooper stated they were dispatched to a one-car mishap on Fort Run Road, east of Peanut Road, near Snow Hill occurring around 7:30 a.m.
The police department stated the evidence shows the sport utility vehicle left the roadway to the right, made a sharp correction, crossed the center line, and then left the road to the left. The car then hit a ditch and turned over in a field growing peanuts. A female occupant, confirmed to be the 27-year-old Makaylah Dixon from Snow Hill, was thrown from the vehicle. Her body was located in a tree.
It is still being looked into whether Dixon was the driver or just a passenger in the vehicle. The possibility of alcohol influence and speeding is being considered, although the investigation is still ongoing.
