Omaha authorities are examining a stabbing incident that led to a man’s demise. Responding units arrived at a location close to North 66th and Emmet streets just after 11 p.m. on Monday because of an initial disturbance, which rapidly developed into a stabbing. When officers arrived, they discovered the man, who was confirmed to be 38-year-old Christopher Jackson, injured by a stab wound. Paramedics provided emergency care, including CPR, while transporting him to the hospital, but he was pronounced dead upon arrival. Investigators have announced that there is no risk posed to the public. Omaha police reported that a 14-year-old juvenile has been taken into custody on allegations of second-degree murder and the improper use of a weapon to facilitate a felony.
