The Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office has officially identified the individual who tragically lost their life recently at a residence within Madison’s eastside region. This person, Donald D. Lewis, aged 38, was found deceased at the Dutch Mill Mobile Home Park on October 9th.
The precise cause of Lewis’s death is still under investigation, as further testing continues. Madison Police Department responders were dispatched to the 4700 block of Dutch Mill Road, the location of the mobile home park, shortly before 8 p.m. on Thursday. Their initial report indicated they were called to the scene following reports of gunfire and an ongoing argument.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a 38-year-old male who had sustained a serious gunshot wound. Regrettably, the medical examiner’s office has confirmed that this individual, Donald D. Lewis, did not survive the injuries. Madison Police Department detectives are currently examining this shooting incident. However, authorities have not released any details regarding the nature of the argument or identified any potential suspects involved.
