Law enforcement is seeking public assistance to identify the relatives of a man who was discovered deceased at a Belvidere park several weeks ago.
Juan Lopez Garcia, who was 59 years of age, was located on September 15th in a body of water at Spencer Park, as confirmed by the Boone County Coroner’s Office. Officials have indicated that the death was accidental and no criminal activity is suspected.
Investigators report that Garcia was residing at the Americas Best Value Inn in Belvidere before his passing.
