Cory McQuitty dies in fatal Butler County car crash

Fatal Butler County car crash death of Cory McQuitty

Butler County authorities have confirmed the identity of the individual struck and killed by a motor vehicle Saturday. According to local officials, the deceased was Cory McQuitty, a 23-year-old from Hamilton.

Initial reports from Butler County deputies indicate they were dispatched to Reily Millville Road near Woodbine Road in Hanover Township shortly after 5 a.m. The scene involved an unfortunate pedestrian incident.

Investigators gathered statements from people who saw what happened and collected evidence at the scene. It has been determined that Mr. McQuitty was the target of a collision with an eastbound car that departed without stopping.
