David Hicks dies in fatal Monroe car crash
Fatal Monroe car crash death of David Hicks
A 37-year-old man lost his life in a serious accident occurring on I-75 around 12:53 a.m. on Friday.
The Monroe authorities reported that the individual, known as David Hicks from Moraine, Ohio, was the driver of a 2015 Jeep Rubicon traveling southbound on I-75. The car went over the right side of the road and turned over.
Mr. Hicks sustained severe injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital but unfortunately passed away there later that morning.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is examining this incident and stated Hicks was the only occupant of the vehicle and was not wearing his seatbelt at the time.
The ongoing investigation continues.
