Mariah Raile and Bryse Lang die in fatal Natrona County car crash
Fatal Natrona County car crash death of Mariah Raile and Bryse Lang
A fatality report from the Wyoming Highway Patrol indicates a devastating collision on I-25 in Natrona County resulted in the deaths of two individuals. The incident occurred during the early morning hours.
The accident transpired at 2:00 AM near mile marker 225. Meteorological conditions at the time featured wet pavement due to sleet, with a cloudy atmosphere.
Mariah Raile, identified as being 28 years old, and Bryse Lang, who was 33 years old, were both unrestrained at the time of the collision and succumbed to their injuries.
The involved vehicle, a 2010 Cadillac, was traveling southbound on I-25. It veered off the roadway to the left. Evidence suggested a sudden, sharp correction of the driver’s actions, leading to the vehicle entering a spin.
The Cadillac then crossed into the opposing southbound lanes. After skidding approximately 30 feet along the shoulder, the car flipped.
Upon landing, the vehicle struck the ground twice as it descended a steep embankment. It eventually became lodged within the roadside barrier and stopped without control.
This crash represents the 100th and 101st fatalities reported on Wyoming highways this year. This number surpasses the 86 fatalities recorded at this point last year, yet falls short of the 115 fatalities that occurred during the same period in 2023.
