Tristian Michael Goodman died after his pickup truck crashed into a tree early on the morning of Saturday, October 18th.
The fatal car crash involving the teenager occurred in Delaware County, Indiana.
Deputy Jeff Stanley from the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office stated that a nearby person discovered the accident scene around 1:45 a.m. on South Delaware County Road 575 East near the 5600 block.
The Delaware County Coroner, Gavin Greene, confirmed the identity of the deceased as Tristian Michael Goodman, an 18-year-old from Selma. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Deputy Stanley mentioned that the accident caused considerable damage to the passenger side and the roof of the pickup truck.
He also noted that no one witnessed the crash and that it is currently being investigated. So far, no evidence points to a second vehicle being involved.
An autopsy for the victim will be performed at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.
