Fatal Cleveland shooting death of Deon Stallings and Bruce Singleton
Investigators from Cleveland police are examining a dawn shooting incident that led to the deaths of two individuals and the hospitalization of two others, reports the FOX 8 I-Team.
According to police statements, the fatal shooting took place around 1:15 in the morning of Saturday, October 18, located near 7025 Fleet Avenue. This address is situated close to a Sunoco gas station within Cleveland’s Slavic Village area.
Both victims who lost their lives were identified as males. They were 37 and 46 years old respectively. The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed that the 37-year-old was Deon Stallings, a resident of Cleveland. The 46-year-old was identified as Bruce Singleton.
The two injured individuals were also male, with ages 31 and 34.
A police news release stated that initial reports indicate an argument occurred between several people at the scene before the shooting began. Detectives have retrieved two firearms and are currently examining evidence to determine the events that preceded the incident.
