The victims were identified by Sanders Aviation from Alabama and Monte Sano Baptist Church. Their names were Mark Anderson, Lainey Anderson, and Ellie Anderson.
These individuals were vacationing in Montana when their aircraft encountered engine problems. These mechanical failures apparently contributed to the fatal incident.
The accident took place in the Bob Marshall Wilderness area around 4:30 p.m. on that Friday.
All three people on board suffered fatal injuries and were confirmed deceased at the accident site.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) are conducting an investigation into the incident.
