Peni Palei died on Saturday night after being involved in two separate vehicle collisions. West Valley Police confirmed that Palei, who was 69 years old, initially rear-ended a car before driving away from the scene and later crashed head-on into another vehicle. He succumbed to his injuries in the second incident. The fatal accident occurred on 3100 South Road. Police did not release any further details about the crashes, though it was reported that drivers in the other vehicles involved only suffered minor injuries.
