Dorian Matthew Torrez, a 34-year-old man, passed away in a fatal road collision in Aurora.
This occurred during a deliberate hit-and-run incident last year.
A local man, Jeremy House, aged 42, admitted responsibility on Monday for causing the fatal accident and was found guilty by the court.
House was formally charged with vehicular homicide and driving under a reckless state of mind in the Arapahoe County Court.
The original first-degree murder accusation against him was dropped as part of a legal agreement.
Police from Aurora reported responding to the crash scene near the junction of South Havana Street and East Jewell Avenue on November 18, 2024.
The involved vehicles were a Buick Century and a Honda motorcycle. The rider of the motorcycle was transported to a medical hospital but later succumbed to their injuries.
The Aurora County Coroner’s Office identified the deceased as Dorian Matthew Torrez.
According to police records, the driver of the Buick intentionally collided with the motorcycle rider.
Homicide investigators discovered that Jeremy House and a 34-year-old woman named Alexandra Lynn Noorlun were the suspects.
Warrants for their arrests were issued back in February 2025.
House and Noorlun were apprehended a few months later, in March.
Noorlun was separately charged with being an accomplice to the crime and interfering with forensic evidence.
Her next court appearance has been set for November 17.
