Fatal Aurora car crash death of Dorian Matthew Torrez
A man has entered a plea of guilty to vehicular homicide involving reckless driving in relation to the fatal incident that claimed the life of a motorcyclist in Aurora the previous year.
Court documents indicate that 42-year-old Jeremy House pleaded guilty on Monday to charges of vehicular homicide and driving under a demonstration of extreme recklessness in court within Arapahoe County. According to the official court records. A separate accusation of first-degree murder was formally dropped as part of a negotiated agreement between the parties involved.
Aurora Police Division released a statement on November 18th, 2024, disclosing that law enforcement units initially responded to a hit-and-run type collision close to the intersection where South Havana Street meets East Jewell Avenue. The involved vehicles were identified as a Buick Century colliding with a Honda motorcycle. The individual operating the motorcycle was transported to a hospital facility, where unfortunately, they later passed away. The Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office officially identified the deceased as Dorian Matthew Torrez, who was thirty-four years old at the time of his death.
Further analysis conducted by the traffic division of the Aurora Police Department confirmed that the operator of the Buick intentionally made contact with the motorcycle rider. Police investigations, specifically handled by the homicide detective unit, subsequently linked Jeremy House and a woman named Alexandra Lynn Noorlun to the incident as potential suspects. Warrants for their arrests were issued back in February of 2025. Both individuals were eventually apprehended in March.
Alexandra Lynn Noorlun, also 34 years old, was formally charged with accessory to a crime and obstructing the lawful administration of official business by tampering with physical evidence, according to published court information. Her next scheduled court appearance is set for November 17th.
