A tragic one-car accident claimed the life of Dylan Ryan Millhouse early Friday morning, impacting a York County road. The incident happened on Valley Road in Fairview Township, with authorities responding after receiving a report about a severe accident at approximately 1:20 a.m. on October 24th.
The coroner’s office confirmed that Mr. Millhouse, who was a passenger in a pickup truck, was thrown from the vehicle during the violent incident. The truck then exited the road, collided with several telephone poles, and overturned multiple times before stopping on private property nearby. Emergency crews located two people injured at the scene, while another individual, identified as Dylan Ryan Millhouse, was pronounced deceased. Preliminary reports suggest a fourth person involved in the collision had departed the area before help arrived.
Fairview Township Police confirmed the scene and stated that the affected roadway has since been cleared and traffic is flowing normally. However, the West Shore School District announced that a power outage caused by the crash affected Old Trail Intermediate School, forcing them to switch to remote learning for the day. The crash is currently being examined by investigators.
