Jesus Cabrera Gallegos dies in fatal Arlington car crash
Fatal Arlington car crash death of Jesus Cabrera Gallegos
Columbia County authorities confirmed two individuals lost their lives in a serious traffic accident during the week.
One of the drivers involved was Jesus Cabrera Gallegos, a 40-year-old man from Poynette. According to reports, Mr. Cabrera Gallegos died as a result of the collision with a Ford Sport Utility Vehicle.
Gregory Dellmann, who was 47 years old and also from Poynette, was driving the SUV. He too did not survive the incident.
Emergency services were dispatched at approximately 3 p.m. on Tuesday after the collision occurred in Arlington on WIBU Road, close to Kampen Road.
Upon arrival, police and fire department personnel reported that one of the automobiles was engulfed in flames. Both individuals were located within their respective vehicles.
A Columbia County law enforcement officer attempted to assist one driver but was unable to do so due to the intense fire.
