West Milton police have confirmed that Jacob E. Prichard, 34, discovered the lifeless bodies of his wife, Jaymee M. Prichard, 33, and their coworker, Jaime S. Gustitus, 25, before taking his own life. The incident occurred on Saturday morning.
According to authorities, Jacob Prichard entered Jaime S. Gustitus’ residence in the early hours of the morning, located at Honey Tree Place in Sugarcreek Twp., and fatally discharged a firearm. The specific time of this act remains undetermined by investigators.
West Milton Police Chief Doyle Wright stated that the next confirmed action by Jacob Prichard involved exiting a vehicle near the municipal building. He removed his wife’s body from the trunk and subsequently ended his own life, leaving behind a handgun as evidence.
The Prichard couple’s remains were found by police at approximately 5:08 a.m. Following the discovery, it was reported that Jacob and Jaime S. Gustitus shared employment at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. The nature of their professional association was described as unclear by law enforcement.
