Fatal Mission car crash death of Priscilla M. Wagner
A severe collision occurred north of Mission on Friday morning, claiming the lives of two individuals. The incident happened approximately seven miles from Mission along US Highway 83.
The preliminary investigation suggests 73-year-old Priscilla M. Wagner, driving a 2023 Kenworth T680 semi-truck, was heading north when she encountered Kenneth George Peters, driving a Ford F250 southbound. Peters’s vehicle crossed into the opposing lane and collided with Wagner’s semi-truck. The impact sent the Ford F250 sliding into the southbound ditch.
Subsequently, Wagner’s semi-truck caught fire, causing its cab to separate from the trailer. The burning vehicle rolled into the northbound lane, tragically killing Wagner and her 70-year-old passenger, Richard Arthur Wagner. Kenneth Peters suffered serious injuries during the incident. His passenger, Talon Jacob Hostetler, was reported to be uninjured.
