A 911 caller reported the crash on Route 138 just past the Raynham town line to Easton Police around 1:04 a.m. Tuesday, Quinn’s office noted in a statement.

First responders discovered a blue Tesla with “significant damage” engulfed in flames in a wooded area about 20 feet from the highway’s southbound lane.

Tremblett’s body was located in the back seat of the car after emergency personnel put out the fire, Quinn’s office stated.

Following the extinguishing of the fire, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner took custody of Tremblett’s body.

Quinn’s office indicated the crash does not appear to be suspicious.

An examination into the crash is underway.
