Fatal Windsor Square Shooting Death of Jenna Baeza Baeza
The second individual killed in the Windsor Square neighborhood of Los Angeles was confirmed to be deceased on Wednesday. According to Lieutenant Sean Kinchla from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Robbery-Homicide Division, officers from the Wilshire Community Police Station branch were dispatched to the 200 block of North Ridgewood Place, located between Beverly Boulevard and First Street, around 11:45 p.m. on October 22. Upon arrival, they encountered a man and a woman both wounded by gunfire.
Paramedics from the Los Angeles Fire Department pronounced both individuals without vital signs at the scene. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office officially identified the woman on Friday as 34-year-old Jenna Baeza, whose fatal injury was a gunshot wound to the neck. The medical examiner also named the male victim identified on Wednesday as 39-year-old Jack Risemberg, whose death resulted from a gunshot wound to the head.
Lieutenant Kinchla reported that another female was also injured in the incident and transported to a hospital for treatment, with medical professionals expecting her recovery.
According to Fox11 news reports, law enforcement officials have secured a handgun believed to be the weapon used in the shooting. This firearm was located at the scene by police.
