A 15-year-old male has been identified as the suspect in a fatal shooting that occurred in northwest Harris County, Texas, on Monday afternoon, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident happened near an apartment complex on Bammel N. Houston, shortly before 3 p.m.
Deputies reported that the suspect, who is also 15 years old, was detained inside the apartment complex where the shooting took place.
Eyewitness accounts via ABC13’s SkyEye showed several police vehicles and yellow tape surrounding the apartment complex, with onlookers present.
Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez informed social media users that the victim received CPR at the scene but unfortunately died.
