The Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office has officially identified a woman who died following a crash in Graham, reports indicate. The identification follows an incident last week where the Graham resident met with fatal injuries.
Katie Jones, aged 42, passed away on the evening of October 26th. The precise location of the fatal accident was near 86th Avenue East and 224th Street East within Graham. The medical examiner’s office noted that official determinations regarding the cause and manner of her death are still pending further review.
According to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office, emergency responders from the sheriff’s department were dispatched to the scene around 10 p.m. on the day of the incident. Upon arrival, deputies confirmed that the injured woman was pronounced deceased at the location. Details gathered from witnesses suggested her vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed and appeared not to have braked before the collision.
