MARY CRASE DIES IN FATAL LOUISVILLE SHOOTING

Fatal shooting death of Mary Crase

Law enforcement authorities reported that Mary Crase, a 55-year-old female resident of Brandenburg, sustained fatal gunshot injuries at a residence situated along Simpson Lake in the Meade County region. The incident occurred during the latter part of the day on November 3rd.

Initial dispatches to the location resulted in the discovery of Crase, identified as 55 years old, deceased. Following this tragic finding, the Kemper County Sheriff’s Office initiated a search operation for the individual they viewed as responsible, whom they later identified as 45-year-old Scott Hornback from Irvington. This search focused on the Ekron vicinity, particularly the area encompassing Osbourne Road and Burgundy Lane.

Subsequently, law enforcement confirmed via dispatch that Hornback had been located deceased. The Kemper County Sheriff’s Office did not release any details concerning the cause or manner of Hornback’s death.
