A fatality occurred late Wednesday morning in Wilmington. The incident transpired at approximately 2:25 a.m. on Center Road.
The authorities have released details, confirming that 22-year-old Benjamin J. Stearns, who resided in Centerville, was operating a 2017 Kia Forte. The official investigation concluded that this particular automobile veered off the right edge of the road and subsequently collided with a tree.
It was further ascertained by the responding officials that Mr. Stearns was not secured in a seatbelt during the collision. Regrettably, the unfortunate circumstances led to his death at the location.
