The fatality resulted from a one-vehicle accident that transpired in the Bishop Hills area on Tuesday morning. Texas Department of Public Safety personnel confirmed the collision occurred approximately at 5:30 a.m. According to DPS statements, Gonzalez Terrasas, who was 47 years old and from Dalhart, was driving along Roadside Management 1061 headed south. The cause for the incident was not identified, yet it was reported that her vehicle veered across into the opposing traffic lane. Following this deviation, the car departed the roadway and subsequently rolled over upon impact with a brick barrier. This occurrence is currently being examined by Texas DPS authorities.
