Fatal Livermore collision death of Richard Simion Sajor Jr.
The authorities have officially identified the individual who lost his life in the recent traffic incident. According to the Alameda County Coroner’s Office, Richard Simion Sajor Jr., a 47-year-old local resident, was declared the deceased in the accident that took place last Monday.
Local law enforcement arrived at the scene shortly after the collision occurred around 3:30 a.m. on October 27. The initial probe by police revealed that Mr. Sajor was moving along Portola Avenue in a westbound direction when he encountered a driver, aged 61 and also from Livermore, who was attempting to turn left into Portola Avenue from Paseo Laguna Seco.
Emergency medical services were dispatched and reached the location quickly, but despite their efforts, the cyclist was pronounced dead at the site. The other driver remained present and assisted the investigation without issue.
