Cecil Davidson Jr. dies in fatal Columbus shooting.
The unfortunate death of Mr. Davidson was linked to a single incident investigation initiated by the Columbus Division of Police following the events of Halloween night.
An arrest warrant for Jason Muse was formally submitted on Thursday, leading to his apprehension later that day, which reportedly occurred without any issues. Mr. Muse is facing serious criminal charges, specifically murder, concerning the death of Cecil Davidson Jr.
The fatal shooting took place on Halloween evening at the intersection of South Ohio Avenue and Frebis Avenue, occurring around 8:15 p.m. Local law enforcement confirmed that they discovered the victim, Mr. Davidson, suffering injuries from gunfire.
Mr. Davidson was transported to Grant Medical Center but unfortunately, medical professionals pronounced him deceased upon arrival. According to the police report, there were prior indications of conflict between the deceased, Mr. Davidson, and the suspect, Mr. Muse.
Mr. Muse is scheduled to make his initial appearance in court at the Franklin County Municipal Court on Friday.
