Fatal Bakersfield car crash death of Daniel Chavez Cruz
Identified by the county coroner’s office was the man killed when his vehicle collided with a tree in northwest Bakersfield.
According to the Bakersfield Police Department, emergency dispatchers received a report on September 25th, 2025, at approximately 1:34 a.m. regarding a single-car accident located in the 11500 block of Hageman Road.
Upon their arrival, police discovered Cruz had been partially thrown from the vehicle. The damaged blue GMC Acadia was reported to have struck the tree.
