Peter Roskowski Dies in Fatal Car Crash Near Millsboro

Delaware State Police have confirmed that 76-year-old Peter Roskowski from Millsboro is the individual killed in a two-car accident on November 7th near Millsboro.

The incident happened around 2:30 PM on John J. Williams Highway as it approached Layton Davis Road. According to investigators, a Dodge Ram, which was heading west, deviated into the eastbound lane and struck another vehicle head-on. The cause of the driver’s departure from the road is currently under examination.

Roskowski, who was driving the Dodge Ram, passed away at the location of the collision. The operator of the opposing Ford F-450 box truck, a 63-year-old man from Cape Coral, Florida, was transported to a local hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening by the authorities.

John J. Williams Highway was closed for several hours to allow police to examine the scene and clear the road.
