Fatal Donna hotel room homicide death of Cosme Iriate – Obituary

Cosme Iriate, 29, of Donna, Texas, was found dead Saturday evening inside a Texas Inn hotel room, authorities confirmed.

Donna police responded around 6:22 p.m. to a welfare call at the 2000 block of E. Expressway 83. Upon entering the room, officers discovered Iriate unresponsive and pronounced him deceased at the scene.

Two suspects have been identified in connection with the case: 20-year-old Oscar Rodriguez of Weslaco and a 17-year-old girl from Alamo. Both have been charged with murder and tampering with evidence and were given bonds of $1,250,000 each.
