Lulian DeGeratu, 58, of Fullerton, passed away on Christmas morning, five days after being struck by a vehicle that fled the scene. The incident occurred on the evening of December 20 at the intersection of South Gilbert Street and Carol Drive.

Emergency responders transported DeGeratu to a trauma center in critical condition following the collision, but he later succumbed to his injuries. Authorities described the suspect’s car as a white, four-door sedan, possibly bearing damage to its front end.
