Fatal Fort Worth shooting death of Ricardo Acevedo – Obituary

Fort Worth authorities have confirmed the death of 15-year-old Ricardo Acevedo, who was shot on Dec. 22.

Police responded to a reported shooting in the 7400 block of Snow Ridge Drive around 3:21 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found Acevedo with a gunshot wound to his upper torso. He was transported to the hospital but was pronounced dead en route, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation as authorities work to gather more information about the incident.
