Fatal Minidoka County car crash death of Justin Robert McWilliams – Obituary

Justin Robert McWilliams, a 30-year-old man from Spring Creek, Nevada, was killed early Saturday morning after being struck by a pickup truck in eastern Idaho, authorities confirmed.

The Idaho State Police reported that the crash occurred around 12:20 a.m. on Dec. 27 at the intersection of Idaho Highway 24 and 300 West in Minidoka County. A 32-year-old woman from Fairfield was driving east on 300 West in a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 when she hit McWilliams, who was walking along the roadway.

McWilliams suffered critical injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup has not been publicly identified.

Multiple agencies responded to the incident, including the Minidoka County Sheriff’s Office, Heyburn Police Department, Emergency Response Ambulance, East End Fire Department, and Life Flight. Authorities said 300 West was closed for about an hour and a half while crews worked the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
